Sitting Man

Since the sun is shining it is a bit hard to stay inside so I spend my time on the roof in the sun chipping away on my stones. My friend Markus gave me a soapstone which I carried all the way from Austria and I which inspired me to do this sculpture.

So far I only worked with Maltese Limestone so it was really a pleasure.

Unfortunately the stone was rather small but I think I made the best out of it.

Size is approximately 12 high x 15 long x 8cm wide - polished & varnished soap stone.
